Best Product Design Agencies for Crypto and Fintech Apps in 2026

Updated

If you are building a wallet, a trading app or a fintech product, you need a design team that knows how people act around money. A confusing screen can make a new user leave.

This list compares 11 agencies that design crypto, web3 or fintech products. For each one you get the work they show, who it fits, what it costs to start, and one thing to watch out for.

Disclosure: we are Sollas, and we are on this list. Every fact comes from each agency's own website or its Clutch profile, checked on 2 November 2026. It is not a ranking: agencies are grouped by the minimum project size they list on Clutch, from the largest, and listed alphabetically inside each group.

What a crypto or fintech app needs from a design agency

  • Experience with money flows. Deposits, swaps, KYC and bank linking are where new users get lost or stop trusting the app.
  • Proof with numbers. Look for named clients and real results.
  • Design that reaches the live product. Ask if they build the screens or hand over Figma files to your developers.
  • A budget that fits your stage. Minimum projects on this list go from $1,000 to $100,000+.

How we picked

We looked for agencies that show named crypto, web3 or fintech work on their own website. Then we checked each one on Clutch for rating, number of reviews, minimum project size and hourly rate. Agencies that only do marketing or blockchain development without product design are not on the list.

Questions to ask on the first call

  1. Can you show a live crypto or fintech app you designed, not only a concept?
  2. What changed in numbers after your work?
  3. Who exactly will design my product, and will I talk to them directly?
  4. Do you build the screens, or do my developers rebuild them from Figma?
  5. How do you test new screens with real users before launch?

Questions about crypto and fintech design agencies

How much does a crypto or fintech design agency cost?

Minimum projects on Clutch range from $1,000 to $100,000+. MetaLab and Lazarev. start at $100,000+, Clay and Ramotion at $50,000+, Arounda and Heartbeat at $25,000+, Phenomenon Studio and Eleken at $10,000+, and Avark at $5,000+. Sollas and 925Studios list $1,000+. To start small, Sollas has a $1,000 test week (sprints from $3,000), 925Studios a one-week trial and Eleken a 3-day free trial.

Should a crypto startup hire an agency or an in-house designer?

Hire in-house when you know exactly what to design and have the budget for a full-time salary. Before that, an agency gets the first screens done faster and can hand over a design system your future designer will use.

What should a fintech design agency show in its portfolio?

A good portfolio shows named clients in crypto or fintech, live apps you can download, and results in numbers, such as more users finishing sign-up or making a first deposit, because screens alone do not show if the design worked.

How long does it take to redesign a crypto app?

Expect about 2 to 3 months for design alone and 3 to 6 months or more for a full product, based on what agencies on this list publish. Lazarev. quotes 8 to 12 weeks for design and 3 to 6 months end to end. Clay says a full digital banking product often takes six months or more. Sollas starts with a one-week test, puts the first changes live in week 2 and tests new screens with real users in the first month.
